Associate Brand Manager – Pet Wellness (Hybrid)

Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing professional who is eager to enhance their knowledge and skills in Brand Marketing within the pet wellness category.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team passionate about making a positive difference in animal care worldwide.

You will assist the Brand Management Team in developing and executing marketing and innovation plans that deliver sales, market share, and profit growth for pet wellness products.

Your Responsibilities

Assist in developing new products, product improvements, packaging improvements, and line extensions – performing 3C/4P analysis and partnering with R&D.

Analyze and summarize market research and POS data; monitor sales performance and develop accurate forecasts.

Create clear, impactful sales presentations to support new products and educate on category trends.

Maintain competitive intelligence on new products, channel trends, and overall pet care market shifts.

Support SKU portfolio management and inventory coordination with cross‑functional teams.

Execute consumer communication and promotional support, collaborating with Hartz’s agency of record on 360‑degree activations.

Provide day‑to‑day support to cross‑functional project teams and manage business issues and opportunities.

Forecast volume and participate in S&OP processes with Sales, Operations Planning, and other stakeholders.

Develop P&L for new and existing items to evaluate pricing, cost, and trade support changes.

Collaborate with Marketing Coordinator on packaging design approvals.

Develop materials for consumer research studies and maintain IRI database integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field with 3+ years of marketing experience, including at least 1 year as an Assistant Brand Manager or equivalent and 2 years in a senior CPG marketing support role.

Strong analytical skills – experience with IRI (Circana)/Nielsen POS and panel data.

Proven market research and P&L analysis experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel domestically a few times a year.

Salary Range:

$105,000–$115,000 per year.

The specific salary offered will depend on qualifications and experience.
