Remote and Office Policy: Remote roles can be located in any of the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV. Employees within a 90‑minute radius of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters are required to adhere to the in‑office work guidelines of 4 days per month (minimum 10 am–2 pm, with one day Monday or Friday). This requirement does not apply to support specialist positions. Relocation is not provided.

Job Summary & Responsibilities The Sr. Financial Analyst reports to the Manager or Director, Finance in the Finance Department. This role is responsible for creating advanced forecasts, analytics, financial models, and management reporting. The role is highly visible and serves as a strategic business partner focused on providing actionable insights and recommendations that help business and finance executives make informed decisions and improve profitability.

Assist in due diligence and M&A activities, strategic scenario analysis, and the development of corporate‑level business cases.

Perform financial variance and trending analyses, compile board and financial presentations, evaluate ROI opportunities, model potential financial impacts of proposed decisions, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Collaborate with leaders in Finance, Business Units, Sales, Human Capital, Corporate Development, Senior Leadership Team, and CFO to assess reporting needs and drive business analytics for initiatives.

Strategic Business Partner:

Utilize data to tell a story and drive insights while tailoring messaging based on the audience.

Create accurate, compelling, and effective high‑level presentations for executives.

Collaborate with varying levels of business leadership and Finance colleagues.

In partnership with the business, review operating and financial results identifying variance drivers and levers to enhance performance.

Forecasting and Analytics:

Create and/or support the development of financial related models and ensure they are accurate and updated to reflect evolving business dynamics.

Support forecasting, expense management, & budget planning processes.

Support monthly accounting close activities to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Identify and track key indicators and trends in alignment with the operational plan.

Initiate needed improvements to processes and reporting and drive them to conclusion.

Management Reporting:

Support board meetings and various activities related to mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and corporate financing efforts.

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field with relevant experience in financial analysis including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and the development of business analytics.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fields.

Skills & Abilities

Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Solid understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Accounting.

Strong organizational skills with a drive to meet deadlines and drive projects to conclusion.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience in Salesforce, Tableau and MS PowerBI a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

An aptitude for prioritization, multi‑tasking and efficiency.

Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate finance concepts to non‑finance team members.

A drive to learn and promote new concepts quickly in a culture of continuous improvement.

Self‑stators who are dependable and can work independently and run with projects that come with little initial direction.

Other Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay Range $79,000–$97,000 per year

Compensation & Benefits The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.
