In this role, you will work within a defined geographic territory that targets clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. You will identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, benefits, and more and sell additional solutions to existing clients. Daily, you will cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads, assess client or prospect needs to present the best ADP solutions, and spend your time in the field closing business. We provide high-quality sales training to set you up for success.
Responsibilities
Grow our business while growing yours; work independently and collaboratively to close sales, win business, and reach goals.
Turn prospects into loyal clients and raving fans; implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners.
Deepen relationships across the ADP family; sell cloud-based human resources solutions and identify additional business within existing accounts.
Collaborate daily; serve as trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador.
Required Qualifications
Positive self-starter: upbeat, persistent, cold calling, time management, clear communication.
Agile solution seeker: problem solver who finds answers amid fast-paced change.
Continuous learner: always learning, growing, questioning past methods.
A college degree is great but not required. What matters is your ability to perform the job.
Other acceptable experiences
One to two years of work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or similar industries.
Military experience. ADP values the discipline, commitment, and problem‑solving abilities veterans bring.
Bonus Points
Prior quota-carrying experience.
Ability to build a network and use social media for sales.

Compensation and Benefits Base salary offers may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
Salary: USD $35,900 – $77,700 per year, plus bonus, equity, and commissions.

Actual compensation will not be less than applicable minimum wage or exempt salary requirements per federal, state, and local laws.
