About the Hotel The Conrad Washington DC is a Forbes 4‑Star hotel featuring 360 rooms, 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and five food and beverage outlets including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar, club lounge, and in‑room dining.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and complete registration, including inputting guest information, confirming room rates and rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet, and ensuring a bell person accompanies guests.

Assist guests with check‑out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for, using the point‑of‑sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, recording payments, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and local area and answer guest questions.

Use up‑selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.

Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

Field guest complaints, conduct research and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.

Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests.

Shift & Compensation Classification: Full‑Time Shift: Various – must be available to overnights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Pay Rate: $29.50 per hour (based on experience and location).
