WHOOP Labs Study Coordinator (Temporary)

WHOOP Labs is the research and hardware validation arm of WHOOP. Our work focuses on conducting human trials to validate next‑gen features and technology.
As a WHOOP Labs Study Coordinator, you will join the WHOOP Labs team to execute data collections for a range of research studies for algorithm training and design testing. Your efforts will support the organization as we continue to develop a best‑in‑class experience and lead the wearables industry.
Location:
Boston, MA – candidates must work in person 5 days a week at WHOOP Labs.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with other research coordinators to execute testing protocols.
Provide coaching and guidance to participants during exercise protocols, balancing data integrity, research best practices, and participant experience.
Create a supportive and welcome environment for participants engaging in a range of research tasks, from exercises to device interactions.
Manage the use and upkeep of data collection equipment and prototype devices.
Report research progress regularly and highlight data quality issues or other bugs to relevant technical teams.
Own daily lab management tasks required for data collections to be possible, such as laundry, equipment cleaning, and material organization.
Serve as an ambassador for the WHOOP Labs and WHOOP brand.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in human physiology, biomedical engineering, exercise physiology, or similar.
Strong technological background and working knowledge of data management systems including the Google Suite.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with a savvy for working as part of a highly collaborative, fast‑paced team.
Prior experience in customer service or other public‑facing roles a plus.
Strong attention to detail.
Professional, timely, organized.
