PROGRAM MANAGER ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor Program Managers, fostering team development and cross‑functional collaboration across global platforms.
Oversee multiple high‑priority programs, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and on‑quality delivery while exceeding profitability targets.
Maintain strategic ownership of program scope, risk, reporting, and communication from inception to launch.
Build and sustain strong relationships with OEM engineering, purchasing, and quality departments, serving as the executive escalation point for key accounts.
Run executive gate reviews and internal operating system processes, ensuring projects receive proper approval before execution.
Define customer requirements, manage change control, and issue impact letters for customer‑related decisions.
Steer project timing, risk, and cost management, providing profitability roadmaps and mitigation plans.
Deliver VAVE cost‑reduction commitments and support quoting activities.
Bill all toolings within 30 days of PPAP and ensure system compliance across all managed programs.
Supply senior leadership with portfolio‑level status reports and lead cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing team meetings.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
8+ years of progressive program‑management experience in the automotive supplier industry.
Proven people‑leadership skills and the ability to mentor and evaluate team performance.
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
Experience leading cross‑functional, international teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of lean business processes, value‑stream mapping, and process improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated success in planning projects and meeting cost, quality, and timing objectives.
Experience interfacing with product development and customers, managing senior‑level expectations.
Familiarity with internal IT tools such as vBuyer, EnterProj, GBC, SAP, and legacy systems is a plus.
Additional Information
Occasional travel may be required; overtime expected, including evening meetings with global teams across multiple time zones.
