Art of Problem Solving
As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in expanding AoPS's customer base, allowing us to make an impact on a greater number of students. In this fast‑paced and vital role, you will lead performance‑driven campaign strategy across search, display, social, and search engine optimization. You’ll manage the full campaign lifecycle, including activation, analysis, optimization, measurement, tracking, and reporting. Success in this role requires a strong bias for action, an ability to think both strategically and tactically, strong analytical skills, and hands‑on tool proficiency.
The Growth Marketing Manager Will
Manage all paid campaigns from strategy to execution, including but not limited to Google Search (SEM, display, shopping/pmax), FB/IG, etc. Be responsible for managing campaign budgets, and setting up, monitoring, optimizing, and scaling campaigns to hit CPA and ROI targets.
Continuously identify new opportunities for SEO and campaign optimization including but not limited to geo‑targeting, keyword discovery and expansion, audience testing, bidding strategies, landing page testing, A/B testing and ad copy testing.
Utilize strong analytics skills to interpret data and identify opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, analyze website traffic, conversion funnels, attribution and cohorts using Google Analytics and other advanced analytics tools such as MixPanel.
Assist cross‑functional teams with event tracking and analytics setup in platforms like Mixpanel/GTM for marketing initiatives.
Create reports for internal stakeholders and effectively present learnings and campaign performance on a regular cadence.
Work closely with the Director of Growth Marketing and business line leaders to understand the customer base and business goals of each of our products.
Work with the Creative team to develop compelling ad campaigns, content and other creative assets.
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
Complete other marketing tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Has
A minimum of 3‑5 years of acquisition marketing experience
Proven success scaling and efficiently managing campaigns across a portfolio of acquisition channels, with a focus on Google Ads and other paid channels
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and optimize marketing budget
Strong analytical approach to acquisition funnel metrics measurement, campaign performance, and optimizations
Strong understanding of KPIs and digital marketing metrics, including CPA, CPC, CPM, CPI, ROAS, and CAC
Proficient in A/B testing with strong analytical skills and experience using tools like Google Analytics and Mixpanel for data‑driven insights.
Strong Excel skills, including the ability to build complex spreadsheets, graphs, and pivot tables
Proficiency in SQL and advanced data analysis tools is preferred
