SAP SD Consultant

The SAP SD Consultant is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the SAP Sales and Distribution module. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to analyze and understand their business processes and requirements and translating them into functional and technical design within the SAP system. The consultant will be a key player in project life cycles, from initial blueprinting to go‑live and post‑implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with business users and stakeholders to analyze complex sales and distribution business processes.
Identify and document business requirements, gaps, and issues.
Facilitate workshops to collect and validate requirements.
Design, configure, and customize the SAP SD module to meet business needs.
Configure key functionalities: sales order processing, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
Set up master data (customer and material master data).
Configure and manage pricing procedures, condition types, and access sequences.
Ensure seamless integration of the SD module with MM, FI, and PP.
Collaborate with ABAP developers and other functional teams to ensure cohesive system delivery.
Develop and execute test cases for unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
Analyze and resolve software problems and system issues; liaise with the client for troubleshooting.
Perform system upgrades and enhancements.
Provide ongoing support to end‑users for SAP SD queries and issues.
Create and maintain detailed documentation (functional designs, configuration guides, user manuals).
Conduct training sessions and workshops for end‑users.
Proactively identify and propose business process and system enhancements.
Stay updated with the latest SAP advancements, best practices, and industry trends.
