ChristianaCare is currently seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Surgery. We have opportunities available at both our Newark, DE and Sussex County (Lewes) locations, offering the chance to be part of a well-established, respected subspecialty practice serving patients across Delaware.

This role is 100% Urogynecology subspecialty care — no general gynecology or primary care — with opportunities for both independent practice and close collaboration within our multidisciplinary team. Whether you prefer a dynamic, team-based environment in Newark or a more autonomous setting leading care delivery in Sussex County, both roles offer rewarding work within an organization that prioritizes compassion, innovation, and excellence.

About the Practice ChristianaCare’s Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Surgery is a high-volume, well-established outpatient practice with a long-standing reputation for clinical excellence and community trust. The practice is staffed by:

Three experienced surgeons

Two Advanced Practice Clinicians

Three Continence Nurses

Supported by a robust, collaborative infrastructure and a multidisciplinary care model

Our team delivers comprehensive care for patients with complex pelvic floor disorders across multiple locations statewide.

Position Highlights

Provide independent evaluation and management of patients with pelvic floor disorders, including:

Urinary incontinence

Pelvic organ prolapse

Overactive bladder

Fecal incontinence

Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Deliver patient education, counseling, and care coordination

Assess surgical candidacy and collaborate with the surgical team as appropriate

Opportunity to work autonomously at satellite sites while benefiting from a supportive system network

Travel between locations may be required for collaboration and training

Qualifications

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware

Certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., Women’s Health, Family Medicine)

Prescriptive authority and DEA registration (or eligibility)

BLS certification required

Prior experience in Urogynecology, Women’s Health, or Urology preferred

Sussex County candidates should have at least 5 years of independent clinical experience
