Location: Ocean Psychological Services | San Bruno, California
Job Type: Part‑time, hourly
Pay Range: $30.00/hr – $33.00/hr
About the role At Ocean Psychological Services, we are passionate about helping clients thrive through compassionate, high‑quality ABA therapy. We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 support and implement individualized treatment plans. In this role, you’ll work closely with a supervising BCBA, make a direct impact on client growth, and be part of a team that values collaboration, professional development, and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on individualized client goals and treatment plans.
Collect, document, and analyze data during sessions to monitor client progress and guide treatment decisions.
Attend client team meetings, mandatory quarterly staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals.
Facilitate individual and small‑group social skills training sessions when appropriate.
Maintain timely communication, including checking and responding to company emails on business days.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required).
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred).
Prior experience or strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques (preferred).
Strong data collection, time‑management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Must be able to provide a minimum of 15 hours of weekly availability between 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (with flexibility to support weekend shifts if needed).
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and actively engage during therapy sessions.
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed to support client activities.
Sufficient vision and hearing to monitor client safety and engagement.

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
