Assistant Site Coordinator
Pay Rate: $26.30/hour
Key role: Assist the Site Coordinator and serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders at the site, ensuring program compliance and quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead and/or assist in managing day‑to‑day operations of the expanded learning program.
Support supervision of program staff (Afterschool Youth Leaders, Athletic and/or Enrichment Instructors).
Assist with interviewing, hiring recommendations, disciplinary actions, and staff evaluation.
Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to all program staff.
Demonstrate professionalism as a role model.
Create and organize program schedule, including academic, recreation, and enrichment activities.
Plan, organize, and participate in program events and field trips.
Maintain communication with school personnel, Think Together staff, students, and families.
Recruit students to meet attendance outcomes per grant requirements.
Assist with student‑to‑staff ratio, facilitate classes and clubs as needed.
Monitor and enforce school and Think Together policies to ensure a safe, respectful learning environment.
Support staff professional development: assist with classroom observations, coaching, and training referrals.
Help conduct program evaluations via surveys of students, staff, and parents.
Collect, review, approve, and submit timesheets and documentation (attendance, snack counts, enrollment forms, field trip forms).
Represent the mission of Think Together and uphold all policies and procedures.
Attend required trainings and off‑site meetings.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, enrollment, consent, and staff performance.
Ensure workplace safety, report injuries, and recommend safety improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum six months experience working with youth in a classroom or afterschool setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in an afterschool program or school setting.
Background Checks/Testing
Live Scan criminal background check via fingerprinting.
Clear TB test.
