Job Description Principal, Business Consulting – Solution Architect. The vision of the Data & Analytics team is to help our clients become Data / Analytics / Insights driven. The Principal is a key member of the team expected to help deliver the vision by defining, prioritizing and managing data product roadmaps while providing technical leadership and solution architecture guidance. We are seeking experienced Management Consultants with a background in Solution Architecture to join us. Responsibilities

Deliver client programs related to helping clients become Data / Analytics / Insights driven. Define and manage the roadmap for data products, analytics platforms and data services. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and solution designs. Prioritize features and improvements to maximize business impact while balancing technical feasibility. Create an overall solution for a cloud-based end-to-end data analytics platform, including current state data ecosystem assessments, future state architecture definitions, driving tools and capability evaluations for the client, and data modernization implementations. Ensure best practices in data governance, data quality, scalability and security are followed. Be an expert in your domain and contribute to advancing Infosys Consulting’s thought leadership in the industry. Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions and executive presentations. Lead and manage a team of consultants for client deliverables. Continuously evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend innovative solutions. Work effectively with Client and Infosys teams. Practice Development: help with recruitment, training and retention. Help create proposals for sales pursuits with minimal supervision. Qualifications & Background

Experience across multiple industries (e.g., Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing). Experience defining data product roadmaps and managing backlogs. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery frameworks. Exposure to key disciplines of Data and Information Management: Governance, Data Quality, Data Architecture, Master Data, Security, Regulatory Compliance, Business Intelligence. Modern Data Platform / Lakehouse concepts (e.g., Unified Data Architectures, Delta Lake, Apache Hudi or Apache Iceberg). Cloud Data Platforms & Tools (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Snowflake, Databricks) and related ETL/ELT, orchestration. Data Modeling & Governance: Schema Evolution, Metadata Management, Data Cataloging & Lineage, Data Security. Programming & Querying: SQL, NoSQL, Python; Distributed Computing. Analytics & BI Integration: Integration with BI Tools, ML. Data Lakehouse use cases exposure. DevOps & Automation: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code. Real-Time & Batch Data Processing. TOGAF certification is preferable. Excellent communication skills, with experience driving design review workshops and producing design documentation (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Required Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, economics, mathematics, or related technical specialty. 7+ years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years in Management Consulting. Ability to travel 4-5 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.
