Preventive Maintenance Junior Manager
to join a high‑growth, service‑driven organization at the Portland Bakery. In this role, you will oversee asset reliability and maintenance operations, ensuring continuous and dependable production performance. You’ll manage asset risks, optimize operational efficiency, and lead a team to execute preventive maintenance strategies while driving safety, quality, and productivity.
Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of safety, quality, and line efficiency for the assigned shift.
Recruit, train, and develop maintenance staff while fostering positive union relationships.
Drive preventive maintenance programs and lead decision‑making during unplanned downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance.
Optimize cost‑effective maintenance strategies aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field OR equivalent experience.
Managerial or lead experience in a manufacturing setting (required).
Minimum 3 years of experience supervising engineering, maintenance, or production staff.
Experience working with union employees (required).
Strong technical knowledge of maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
Technical certifications in mechanical or electrical systems.
