Join our dynamic team as the Principal Advisor of Data Governance, where you'll lead the charge in developing and executing our enterprise data governance program. This pivotal role involves creating and implementing policies, standards, and frameworks to ensure the integrity, quality, and security of our organizational data. We're looking for a visionary leader who can collaborate across functions to maximize the value of data as a strategic asset. Responsibilities

Lead and Scale: Drive the evolution and scaling of our data governance framework, managing objectives, processes, policies, technology, and procedures. Define and execute the organization's data governance strategy and roadmap. Data-Driven Decisions: Promote transparency in reporting and reduce reliance on consensus by utilizing data to make informed decisions and prioritize work effectively. Advocate for data as a critical asset to support business outcomes and decision-making. Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on Enterprise Data Governance KPIs, metrics, and activities to ensure accountability and progress. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by transitioning from outdated governance practices. Promote adoption through stakeholder consultation and engaging training sessions (e.g., Ask Me Anything meetings, Lunch and Learns, playbooks, gamification). Role Clarity: Define and clarify roles and responsibilities for data stewards and council members. Ensure stewards document and support their areas of expertise and receive appropriate training. Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand privacy, legal, and ethical considerations in the use of artificial intelligence / machine learning and analytics. Leadership Collaboration: Partner with leadership to prioritize the work of stewards within their reporting structure. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 5-8 years of experience in data management, governance, or related roles. Master’s Degree preferred. Proven leadership experience, including building and managing cross-functional teams. Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices. Strong understanding of data regulations and compliance standards. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change. Benefits & Perks
