IT Field Technician
Techmate is seeking IT Field Technicians for on-demand/ad‑hoc support in the Seattle, WA area.
Job Description As a team member, you will assist clients with resolving a range of computer‑related issues and provide on‑site support as needed.
Responsibilities
Installation of workstations.
End‑user support for executives, office personnel, and other key business stakeholders, including installation and configuration of hardware and software applications, and security functions such as password resets.
Copying and restoring end‑user data files; migrating Windows 7 to Windows 10 using tools such as Azure, SCCM, and PXE boot.
Basic networking, rack/stack/patch, remote hands support, and related tasks.
Working with Active Directory, domains, and group policy.
Managing e‑mail, a/v conferencing, and VoIP device replacement and configuration.
Support of enterprise solutions including Microsoft Office 365, Exchange email, and anti‑virus software.
Providing timely and efficient executive‑level support.
Technical support on commonly used applications and devices such as MFD network printers and O365 applications.
Requirements
5+ years of support experience in an enterprise environment using Windows and some Apple/Mac hardware.
Application support for Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
Working knowledge of Azure, Intune, and other cloud‑based services.
Experience with Windows Server, Mac OS X (Server/Workgroup Manager), iOS, and Windows 7 through 10.
Printer installation and management for Xerox, Canon, and HP models.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate independently as well as in a team environment.
Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
