The Journeyman Electrician will provide leadership, efficient installation of electrical work, training, and quality control. The Journeyman may also be responsible for the development of apprentices and trainees assigned to them. Responsibilities
Lead installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Use industry-related hand tools and power tools. Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems, and other wire raceways. Feed, pull, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, switchgear, receptacles, and switches. Splice and terminate wires at junction points. Troubleshoot electrical equipment and control circuits; build control panels from drawings. Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing wiring locations and electrical systems. Delegate tasks and assist in training other employees. Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members. Adhere to Royal Electric Company safety procedures and protocols. Badge eligibility at airports is a plus. Requirements

$40.00/hour - $65.00/hour Note: This is a Private Base Rate. This position is Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon Eligible depending on project assignment. Additional fringe benefits may per project designated wage determination. Benefits
