Kelly Engineering is hiring for a
Quality Engineer
role with a renowned Medical Device company in the
St. Louis, MO
area. This Quality Engineer will develop and establish inspection and measurement methodologies for components and subassemblies. The role is a
6‑month contract
role.
Responsibilities:
Develop, establish and qualify methodologies for mechanical inspection methods including creation of necessary inspection procedures.
Create set‑up fixtures and programs for automated/non‑contact inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, SmartScope, etc.).
Coordinate and perform Measurement System Analysis as required.
Perform routine inspections as required.
Support engineering as a GD&T subject matter expert.
Work within cross‑function groups to implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Related Science Field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 3+ years experience working in the mechanical inspection field and automated inspection equipment in a regulated industry.
Knowledgeable of ANSI Y14.5 and geometric tolerancing techniques.
