The Department of Health & Kinesiology at Purdue University seeks applicants for an academic-year (9-month) clinical faculty (non-tenure track) position (Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor) with a focus in clinical exercise physiology beginning August 17, 2026. The successful candidate will teach in the Clinical Exercise Physiology (CEXP) graduate program and the BS in Kinesiology program. An ability to contribute to our Health and Wellness Coaching specialization is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will work with program and department leadership to develop and implement the CEXP concentration within our MS in Health and Kinesiology degree. In addition, the candidate will contribute to program accreditation. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative team at a leading public institution. Responsibilities

Teach in the Clinical Exercise Physiology (CEXP) graduate program and the BS in Kinesiology program. Develop and implement the CEXP concentration within the MS in Health and Kinesiology degree. Contribute to program accreditation. Collaborate with program and department leadership to advance department priorities. Qualifications

Master’s or doctoral degree by the start date in Clinical Exercise Physiology or a related field (e.g., Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Health and Human Performance); a doctoral degree is preferred but not required. Evidence of teaching experience; experience in applied exercise physiology and/or clinical exercise physiology. American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) certification and evidence of success with high-risk populations are preferred. Application Materials
