Job Description We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician with strong expertise in robot programming and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems. This role is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, including robotic systems and PLC-controlled machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Program and debug industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, etc.) for automated manufacturing processes
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
Support equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning
Diagnose and resolve automation and control system issues
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize automation performance
Maintain documentation of programs and control systems
Qualifications
Proven experience with robot programming and PLC systems
Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
Associate’s degree or technical certification in automation, robotics, or related field preferred
