Our North Dallas client is seeking an experienced Contract to Hire IT/Application Support Analyst with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting enterprise applications. This role plays a critical part in supporting Oil & Gas applications. The ideal candidate will manage escalations from the help desk, ensure application security, and assist in user setup and support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2/3 support for business-critical applications
Respond to and resolve escalated incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Manage user account setup, access controls, and application security configurations.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify and resolve application issues.
Maintain documentation related to support procedures, system configurations, and user guides.
Participate in application upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
Identify recurring issues and recommend long‑term solutions and improvements.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in an application support or analyst role.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues across multiple platforms.
Experience supporting and maintaining document and policy management systems.
Strong understanding of application security and user access management.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
ServiceNow
or similar ITSM platforms.
Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry‑specific applications and business processes.
Background in
business analysis
or
audit/compliance
functions.
Ability to document workflows, support procedures, and system use cases.
