The Senior Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect (Azure & MS365) is a strategic Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for defining and guiding the enterprise-wide architecture, governance, and transformation journey across the full Microsoft Cloud ecosystem. This includes both the productivity and collaboration layer (Microsoft 365) and the infrastructure and platform layer (Microsoft Azure). Acting as a cross-domain architect, this role translates business needs into cohesive and future-proof cloud strategies, ensuring alignment with Microsoft's Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Frameworks. The architect collaborates with business and technical leaders, oversees solution design, and coordinates delivery teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient implementation. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a comprehensive Microsoft Cloud strategy , covering both Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms. Architect cloud-native and hybrid solutions that align with enterprise IT strategy and business goals. Comprehensive architectural vision of the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem. Governance and design of enterprise-grade solutions on M365 and Azure. Coordination of technical teams, stakeholder engagement, and guidance on roadmap, modernization, and adoption initiatives. Lead design and governance of : Identity and Access Management (Entra ID / Azure AD) Modern Workplace services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Power Platform) Azure infrastructure and services (IaaS, PaaS, hybrid connectivity) Establish and enforce governance policies for compliance, security, licensing, cost management, and resource lifecycle. Coordinate technical implementation teams and external partners, ensuring architectural standards and project alignment. Advise on cloud migration and modernization of legacy applications and infrastructure. Promote collaboration between IT, security, business units, and external vendors for successful cloud adoption. Stay updated on Microsoft Cloud innovations and evaluate adoption opportunities. Other Responsibilities

Provide strategic input on : Application consolidation and modernization approaches Low-code / no-code enablement with Power Platform Endpoint management and Zero Trust architecture DevOps strategy and Infrastructure as Code standards Act as escalation point for architectural decisions and platform design challenges. Support definition of roadmap, investment plans, and business cases related to Microsoft Cloud services. Occasional travel required Successful Candidate

Required Skills and Experience Computer Science degree or equivalent qualification 8+ years of proven experience as a Solution Architect in large-scale enterprise environments Excellent English skills (spoken and written), including effective presentation skills, are a must Proven experience in enterprise-level Microsoft Cloud architecture , covering both Azure and M365. Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services , including collaboration, identity, endpoint management, and compliance. Strong architectural knowledge of Azure services (compute, networking, storage, hybrid integration). Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks (CAF, WAF) and architecture standards. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and working across stakeholders (technical, business, compliance). Understanding of DevOps, CI / CD, and IaC (Terraform / Bicep) — preferred for guidance, not direct implementation. Experience with ITIL framework, ideally ITIL 4. Ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders Entrepreneurial mindset Certifications (preferred, considered a plus)
