is a growing architectural firm looking to expand its team due to an increasing project load. We are at the forefront of planning and shaping academic programming for current and future educational facilities in North Texas. Position Overview We are seeking a full-time, on-site Project Manager located in either our Dallas or Fort Worth office. The Project Manager operates as the primary contact for all communication between the client and Glenn Partners, ensuring timely resolution of client concerns and management of business issues including contracts and additional services. Manages multiple small | medium projects (or one large project), coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates scope of work. Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Revit and interpreting/reviewing CAD.
Experience mentoring staff through all phases of the project.
Proven track record of maintaining existing client relationships and building new ones.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to solve complex problems within the design process.
Experience managing and directing work efforts of staff.
Collaborative and professional work ethic.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
8-14 years of architecture experience.
K-12 experience preferred.
Licensed Architect.
Responsibilities Design
Assists with client’s expectations through the design process.
Leads presentations and marketing efforts to new | existing clients.
Works with SPA | PA to provide design continuity and execution.
Technical
Manages the team and deliverables for all phases.
Coordinates design with consultants, contractors and vendors.
Reviews and redlines drawing sets.
Provides QA | QC Reviews.
Reviews drawing sets set for compliance with design standards.
Management
Prepares strategic plans for project success.
Determines fees and scope of work.
Establishes budgets and schedules that align with project work plan.
Manages a team keeping the project on schedule and within budget.Responsible for directing junior staff on deliverables.
Responsible for complete design and technical documentation.
