Compensation Base salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year.

Job Description We are seeking a full‑time
Software Engineer with 2‑3 years of experience
who is excited to invent new technology in the built world.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the third software engineer on a
20‑person team , with a pivotal impact on our core technology.
Collaborate closely with the founding software engineer and electrical engineering team to write software that cuts the electrical design process from weeks to
24 hours .
Primary Areas of Focus
Refining and expanding our novel, proprietary data model for industrial devices.
Extracting device data locked in user manuals and datasheets.
Productizing our device database, providing electrical engineers with tools that accelerate and scale the design process.
Encoding Podium electrical design principles into a schematic generator.
Additional Responsibilities
Interface data between internal systems such as ECAD and ERP.
Integrate with ECAD software to automate device modeling.
Manage our on‑premise infrastructure, ensuring secure and fast access.
Integrate with the panel build process—including task‑flow execution, assembly, and order management.
This position is for a candidate excited to dive into industrial manufacturing.
You will act as the software voice in the room, coordinating with and learning from industry veterans of electrical design, supply chain, and operations.
No prior manufacturing experience is required—just willingness and enthusiasm to learn.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 2‑3 years of building software systems.
Proficient with TypeScript.
Proficient with SQL and relational databases.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Ability to work onsite 4‑5 days per week at our Brooklyn, NY office.
Technical Stack We use Deno, Postgres, SQL Server, HTMX, Docker, Terraform, and AWS.
