This role is focused on digitally transforming a trillion-dollar industry. As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll guide the development of system, technical, and product standards based on business plans and long‑term strategies in an agile environment.

Pay range $134,000.00/yr – $254,000.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

Strategic partner: Own the big picture view, overseeing architecture migrations and maintaining critical relationships with vendors and business partners.

Mentor: Coach and collaborate with junior software engineers while exercising strong technical chops.

Systems‑level engineer: Work with business partners to develop technical requirements and design robust, flexible product and system architectures.

Forward‑thinking leader: Drive continuous improvement, find solutions that increase efficiency, accelerate adoption of new technologies, and enhance profitability.

Qualifications Experience

Ten years of related software engineering experience.

Extensive knowledge of agile environments, contemporary frameworks, emerging technologies, and DevOps/SecOps practices.

Strong background in business operations and strategies, including global business and financial services industry knowledge.

Skills

Excellent negotiation, facilitation, consensus building, and influencing capabilities.

Ability to identify patterns and problems across teams and deliver effective solutions.

Adaptability to fast‑moving circumstances and a design‑thinking, test‑driven development mindset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; aptitude for collaborative teamwork.

Proficiency developing or architecting cloud‑hosted, responsive web applications using Java, Spring, AWS, HTML5, and CSS(S3). (Note: CSSS3 typo corrected)

Strong background in code review and event‑based Architecture of Engagement integration with microservices APIs.

Deep understanding of layered solutions and designs, security concerns, data ingestion, and cloud‑scale data sets.

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
