JustinBradley’s client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the strategic alignment between business goals and technical delivery across our Salesforce-based platform. In this role, you will serve as the voice of the customer and business within the product team, translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable stories that drive value and innovation. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across business, UX, engineering, QA, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and sustainable product solutions.

Must be local to Reston, VA for their 3-day hybrid requirement.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and execution.

Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into well-defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are properly groomed, prioritized, and ready for development.

Partner with UX designers, engineers, QA, and business teams to deliver quality product increments that meet user and business needs.

Participate in and contribute to all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and demos.

Provide thought leadership on product design and system architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with long-term strategy.

Evaluate and communicate the business and system impacts of new features, enhancements, and changes.

Understand and assess technical solution designs to ensure alignment with business requirements and platform strategy.

Collaborate with senior leadership to influence roadmap planning and product vision.

Requirements

Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in technology-driven organizations.

Proven experience working with cross-functional teams across business and technology.

Strong proficiency in writing user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and understand downstream impacts of changes.

Experience collaborating with architects and developers to evaluate and guide technical designs.

Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Experience working on Salesforce-based platforms, particularly within large or complex enterprise environments.

Background in financial services or loan origination systems.

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and best practices for product ownership at scale.
