Objectives / Purpose of Job Lead and drive Tampa’s operational excellence program, oversee global sites strategic alignment and tracking for vision growth, and manage the strategic cost improvement projects program across manufacturing operations.
Key Activities / Responsibilities
Lead the Continuous Improvement Program at the Tampa Site
Spearhead initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
Apply Lean methodologies, Six Sigma tools, and foster employee engagement.
Identify performance gaps, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Drive Global Manufacturing Alignment of Key Strategic Vision Tracking
Ensure consistent execution and reporting of Key Vision metrics across all manufacturing sites.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams and standardize data collection processes.
Maintain visibility of performance indicators to support strategic decision‑making.
Drive Global Manufacturing alignment for Cost Improvement Projects (CIP)
Manage and execute cost‑saving initiatives across the global manufacturing footprint.
Identify opportunities for waste reduction, process optimization, and resource efficiency.
Track financial impact and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
Strategic Impact
Serve as a linchpin between site‑level operations and global manufacturing strategy.
Drive enhanced operational performance and competitiveness.
Promote unified global reporting and accountability.
Deliver sustainable cost reductions and margin improvement.
Qualifications / Training
BS in Engineering, Finance or related field.
Supervisory and management experience recommended.
5+ years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing organizations.
Eligibility for Internal Applicants
No corrective actions at the written warning level in the last six months and no final warning level in the last 12 months.
No active Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Must meet the qualifications stated above and have been in current position for at least 12 months.
Position must be a step up in progression and not a step down.
