Position Overview Under direct supervision, this role provides quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports, delivering discipline‑specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
The supervisor oversees all components of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for his/her caseload, ensuring high quality and adherence to best‑practice guidelines.
Essential Functions
Facilitate behavior programs based on the principles of ABA, conduct behavior assessments, and serve as an assessor when needed. Provide parent education, develop and deliver intervention activities, and serve as liaison between the organization, families, community agencies, and health‑care providers.
Conduct evaluations, case‑management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits as assigned by the Regional Clinical Director. Meet productivity requirements set for the annual budget.
Lead or attend staff meetings and prepare specialized training and instructional materials, including staff development training assigned by the Regional Clinical Director.
Clarify associate responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities. Manage and evaluate associate performance and productivity; provide onboarding training and ongoing development for associates and Program Managers.
Assist the Regional Clinical Director and Human Resources in the recruitment and selection of new program associates.
Attend conferences and trainings to remain current on research, trends, and developments in autism, special education, and related fields.
Serve as liaison between the organization, families, and other community agencies, traveling as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
Master’s degree in ABA or a related field.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Current CPR certification.
Experience
2-3 years of professional experience working with children with ASD in a multi‑disciplinary team setting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches for children with ASD.
Expertise in intervention approaches based on the science of ABA, including PRT, NET, PECS, BST, and EFA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Strong judgment and decision‑making skills.
Customer‑service orientation with professionalism in all interactions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Ability to pass a post‑offer physical examination and TB test.
Proof of required vaccinations or a positive titer.
Criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the DOJ and FBI per Easterseals Southern California or program requirements.
Physical Requirements
Occasional carrying/lifting, standing, sitting, walking.
Local travel up to 50%. Ability to maintain driving record and vehicle registration.
