Senior Civil Trial Attorney
Location: Irvine, CA
Salary: $190,000 - $250,000 per year, with substantial bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of civil litigation from case inception to verdict, including initial case assessment, discovery, depositions, motion practice, pre-trial negotiations, courtroom advocacy, and post-trial motions.
Gather and organize documents, evidence, and legal research for cases, including preparation for hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
Provide guidance and lead the litigation team.
Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel.
Qualifications
Must reside in California and be willing to travel for trial and appearances as needed.
Minimum ten (10) years of litigation experience handling cases from inception through trial; minimum seven (7) years of civil litigation experience.
Experience as a first‑chair attorney in 3+ civil jury trials is required; 5+ bench trials is preferred.
Strong trial preparation: mediation and arbitration experience, jury selection (voir dire), selection and retention of trial experts.
Experience drafting motions and conducting trials; deposition preparation and execution skills.
Knowledge of Superior court systems and proceedings; preferable experience in federal court systems.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
Managed up to 20 cases simultaneously; demonstrated experience managing legal teams with mentoring.
Juris Doctor (JD) and active California Bar membership.
Law degree from an ABA‑accredited law school.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range $190,000 - $250,000 per year with significant bonus opportunities. Compensation and classification are based on directly relevant legal experience.
