Job Title Site Program Manager (SPM)

Summary The Site Program Manager (SPM) is the on‑site leader of the Think Together after‑school program conducted on a partner‑school campus.

The SPM oversees all aspects of the statewide recognized program, ensuring it meets educational and recreational requirements, operates safely and efficiently, and functions in accordance with policies and procedures.

The SPM is responsible for student safety, site operations, maintaining the Average Daily Attendance (ADA), fostering positive partner relationships, and ensuring program quality to provide a positive student experience.

The role requires management of multiple components, funding streams, and variable schedules—including before school, after school, non‑instructional days, and weekends (Saturdays, summer, and winter).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages successful day‑to‑day site operations and program activities.

Ensures program activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Think Together and align with the four core agreements.

Monitors and assesses program success, including participation levels, behavior, student achievement, and quality improvement.

Implements the Think Together Program Design and comprehensive curriculum, ensuring academic success and student engagement.

Trains and coaches all staff to understand and apply program routines, procedures, and design; provides printed lessons, materials, and supplies.

Supports a positive work environment and team ethic; conducts effective staff supervision, training, discipline, and termination when necessary.

Ensures a safe and healthy environment for students and staff; implements school safety plans and reports all incidents.

Maintains accurate student enrollment data, attendance records, and program reports; ensures compliance with ADA and other data policies.

Manages site budgets, timecards, and other human resource policies.

Communicates regularly with school administrators, faculty, parents, and other stakeholders to align program and school goals.

Attends SPM meetings, trainings, and other mandatory events.

Meets all deadlines and deliverables as assigned.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Self‑improvement orientation: continuous knowledge and skill development.

Standard English proficiency appropriate for a public‑school setting.

Excellent communication, time‑management, and organizational skills.

Comfortable with public speaking and providing direction.

Strong problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret instructions in written or oral form.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education:

High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.

Level 1: 1–2 + years in education/youth programs; 1 + year supervisory/leadership experience (2 + years highly preferred).

Level 2: 2–3 + years in education/youth programs; 2 + years supervisory/leadership experience (3 + years highly preferred); AA or vocational certificate related to the position.

Internal candidates who completed the Think Together Build the Bench Program are preferred.

Additional qualifications: previous classroom experience, strong communication with students, parents, staff, and faculty; program management skills; bilingual/bicultural (Spanish) applicable in some districts; CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60 days; satisfactory TB skin test; passing background check (DOJ & FBI).
