This position is seeking well rounded Avionics mechanics to join our dedicated maintenance team as they perform F-35A maintenance, sustainment support, and flight line operations for our Dutch customer as they perform F-35 Operation Test and Evaluation program at Edwards AFB, CA. What We Need:
We are inquiring for skilled aircraft mechanics to join our team, focusing on the comprehensive care of the F-35 aircraft we are contracted to care for. The position requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performing maintenance, repair, launch, recovery, and support activities on F-35A aircraft. Ensure aircraft are in good mechanical order and safe for flight. Perform inspections, servicing, and maintenance in accordance with Joint Technical Data (JTD) and all applicable program and service guidance. Perform and/or assist with Field-Level Modifications and Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTD) maintenance actions. Assign tasks to other maintenance team members. Perform On-The-Job Training for team members and partner aircraft maintenance personnel. Maintain and update aircraft maintenance records and status within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). Communicate and update management on aircraft status. Work 1st shift, with the ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as required by the customer. Selected candidates should expect to depart on temporary duty assignments for up to 2 weeks or longer as needed by the customer. Position may require extended work hours. Candidate must be able to acquire and maintain a flight line driver's license/competency card. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim clearance prior to start and maintain an Interim/Secret clearance throughout the duration. Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry. Compensation and Benefits:

An FAA aircraft and Power Plant Mechanic license is desirable. Experience as an On-The-Job trainer. Proficiency with LM’s F-35 Nose-to-Tail maintenance concept. Two years' recent (within one year) armament, explosives handling, and weapons loading experience as 5 or 7-skill level USAF AFSC, CDI/CDQAR USN NEC, CDI/CDQAR USMC or US Army Aviation attack helicopter maintenance technician. Two years' recent experience with LO repair, application, or modification work on 5th generation airframes. Engine Run Certification, fighter aircraft crew escape systems (i.e. canopy and ejection seat), experience in fighter weapons loading and experience in structural repairs and low observable system maintenance are highly desirable.
