As a Tax Advisor with Block Advisors (H&R Block), you’ll serve clients with diverse tax and business service needs year-round. You’ll have the support of an expert team and receive advanced tax training to help you succeed. Responsibilities
Build year-round client relationships Provide tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning year-round Conduce tax interviews face to face and through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email) to create confidence in clients Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services Provide clients with IRS support All certification levels can provide tax notice services Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation Grow your tax expertise 5+ years of tax experience Experience completing individual tax returns Tax planning and audit support Effective communication in person and virtually Comfort with virtual tools — video conferencing and chat Ability to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment Complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent Meet continuing education requirements and IRS/state requirements Qualifications
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred) Experience completing business tax returns Experience conducting virtual tax interviews Sales and/or marketing experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field Benefits and Culture
