About This Role We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and ensuring production meets daily requirements.

Responsibilities

Create, release, and update Discrete Jobs (DJs) based on production needs, capacity, schedule, and sequencing, including regularly scheduled work and emergent requirements.

Review material availability and perform necessary steps to maintain schedule, including material transfers and purchase requisitions.

Continuously review DJ start/stop dates and update as necessary.

Plan, review, and maintain production progress, supporting and facilitating production teams to meet daily and weekly requirements.

Create/maintain Production Control Boards for each craft.

Recommend corrective action needed to maintain production schedule.

Work closely with other departments (Production, Warehouse, Supply Management) to manage product flow, meet deadlines, and prevent line stoppages and delays.

Ensure required parts or assemblies reach the installation point at the proper time, in the proper sequence, and in sufficient quantity.

Assess and determine reasons for delays in delivery of parts and recommend possible corrective action.

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications A BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Three (3) plus years of manufacturing, inventory/warehousing control, production control/planning, or scheduling experience.

Demonstrated working knowledge of fabrication processes, ability to formulate fabrication sequences and instructions from engineering data.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Self‑starter with ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Knowledge of multi‑level Bill of Material structure.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).

Demonstrated analytical and attention to detail skills.

Oracle system knowledge preferred.

Essential Physical Demand Requirements

Postural:

Ability to move extremities and spine throughout a range of motion, including floor to overhead levels; flexing and twisting of the trunk and other awkward postures occasionally required.

Dexterity:

Good dexterity, frequent use of one or two hands for hand tools and handling materials.

Cardiorespiratory Demand:

Medium work involving constant standing and walking, material handling, and performance in a hot, humid environment.

General Physical Activities:

Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, body twisting, manual dexterity, speaking clearly, seeing distant/reading, reaching, hearing, depth perception, color vision, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders and stairs, balancing.

Physical Demand Level – Medium:

Perform medium physical labor classified by the U.S. Department of Labor; lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling not to exceed 60 lbs.
