In this role you will function as TEG (thromboelastography) product line Clinical Specialist to the customer and effectively drive utilization and expansion of the TEG product line at existing customer sites within a defined territory. You will support ongoing account management sales process through clinical education and ongoing case support in all existing and potential areas of operation and clinical utilization within the customer site. You will grow sales in existing accounts (organic growth) and support new accounts (go-lives) with a growth mindset. This role will require up to 50% travel. Ideal candidates will be located within approximately 45 minutes of a major airport. This role is remote with travel from the above designated territory. Candidates need to currently reside within the Omaha, NE territory or Des Moines, Iowa. Responsibilities include territory management for the existing TEG customer base and increasing product usage while expanding the customer base through clinical education of new users and generating revenue growth. Ensure customers are able to independently, safely, and efficiently operate TEG equipment, software, and related disposables and interpret TEG results across various applications. Train new and existing customers on all product and clinical aspects of the TEG line and provide summaries of training sessions with follow-up through onsite support in labs, critical care, and operating rooms. Provide clinical expertise to help ensure that the TEG product line reaches standard-of-care levels within accounts, leveraging CRM tools and market data. Help drive and expand business to broaden TEG applications within accounts, achieving annual sales targets by utilizing all TEG assays and up-to-date software versions; develop relationships with clinicians, provide didactic education, lead grand rounds, offer case support, and host market development events. Visit assigned hospital accounts, identify and train clinical champions, and establish relationships with key decision makers. Provide dedicated onsite support for new TEG customers going live, including after-hours training and support for all affected shifts and use cases. Resolve technical, operational, and clinical customer concerns through timely investigation and cross-functional collaboration to develop solutions. Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and engaging with professional publications, networks, and societies. Maintain records in the CRM tool for areas of responsibility and customers in the territory. Support VAD/ECMO customers, Trauma, CV, High Risk Obstetrics, Liver transplant, Vascular, and all Critical Care clinicians in their use of TEG. Assist customers in tailoring their training materials and needs. Understand competition and the competitive landscape in the territory and convert opportunities to TEG business within existing accounts. Collaborate with Account Manager to target key accounts for expansion and forecast revenue during quarterly planning and monthly cadence calls. Provide tradeshow support regionally and nationally. Drive demand for device and software upgrades as well as add-on devices. Work with Account Manager and Implementation team during laboratory installation, validation, and verification, including training, competency, SOP and IQCP development, donor sourcing, logistics support for the TEG program, and ordering/interfacing needs. Prospect and develop multi-level relationships (including C-level) within the defined territory. Participate in product development market needs and quality initiatives and provide feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D. Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree (Required) in Nursing (RN) or related clinical field of study. Master’s degree (Preferred) in Arts or Science or Business Administration. 3+ years of industry or clinically related experience, preferably in complex medical devices and/or critical care environments. Preference for experience running the TEG Analyzer, understanding application of results, and manipulating the software. EEO Policy Statement
