Job Description You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, conducting regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as assigned by Allied Universal.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the government location in a calm, problem-solving manner while adhering to established protocols.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual situations.

Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or activities that may impact the security-related interests of the location.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while performing assigned patrol and security-related duties.

Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential threats at the government facility.

Complete required documentation and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for emergency response situations.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

Have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.

Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
