Structural Project Engineer , you will be hands-on with the technical design of building projects, oversee multiple projects including budgeting, scheduling, client management & communication, and attend project sites and client meetings. Responsibilities
Collaborate with teams of engineers and architects to complete project deliverables. Coordinate design work with other engineering and architectural disciplines. Meet client expectations for budget and schedule while delivering a quality product. Increase proficiency in design, modeling, and analysis software applications such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel, SteelSmart, and Simpson CFS Designer. Increase knowledge of local codes and industry standards. Assist with budget estimates and write-ups for proposals. We are seeking the following experience and qualifications: B.S. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred. Professional Engineering (PE) license in the State of California. 5+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood). Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices specific to high-seismic regions. Technical skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel). Experience assembling calculation packages for submittal to agencies (DSA and HCAI a plus). Revit experience including modeling and producing construction drawings is preferred. Experience with seismic evaluations and retrofits per ASCE 41 a plus. Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units, performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, PTO, 401(k), unlimited FTO (Flexible Time Off) and professional development opportunities.
