Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $140,000 to $170,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Manage monthly close processes including journal entry review, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Oversee accounting for fixed assets and leases, including implementation of a fixed asset subledger.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance controls and streamline accounting processes.
Drive automation and system implementation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Support external audits and respond to ad hoc requests from management and other departments.
Requirements
7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
Apply strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles.
Communicate effectively across departments and mentor junior accounting staff.
Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Show proficiency in enterprise-level accounting systems and advanced Excel functions.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
Exhibit experience with ERP systems such as Certinia, SAP, or Oracle.
Maintain strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Preferably have experience in business process outsourcing environments.
Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
