Description:

Saint Francis, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a MRI Tech to join our Radiology team!

Shift:

PRN to include on call duties, evenings, Mon thru Frid 1730-2400, Weekends 0700-2400. Commitment of 1 weekend a month minimum. May include day shift occasionally for PTO coverage. Weekend and holiday requirements. Per department needs.

Summary:

The technologist is responsible for performing all MRI/MRA procedures including those utilizing injected contrast agents. The technologist selects proper technical factors and coils. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.

Responsibilities

Perform all MRI/MRA procedures

Utilize hospital EMR and Radiology PACS with accuracy

Assesses patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure

Accept additional assignments and tasks

Provide MRI co PD position to include on call duties, evenings, Mon thru Frid 1730-2400, Weekends 0700-2400. Commitment of 1 weekend a month minimum. May include day shift occasionally for PTO coverage. Coverage after hours, weekends and holidays participating in “ON-CALL” rotation

Supports Mission and Values of Saint Francis Hospital

Perform all CT Scan procedures

Perform Diagnostic Radiology exams needed

Utilize the hospital EMR with accuracy

Utilize the Radiology PACS system

Accept additional assignments and tasks

Provide CT coverage after hours participating in “ON-CALL” rotation as needed.

Qualifications

ARRT with MRI certification required or ARMRIT

Delaware license in Radiology Technology

BLS
