Senior Accountant This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant ready to advance into a management role within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

About the Role A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

Oversee the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed financial reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of records.

Develop and maintain efficient reporting processes to support timely and accurate financial disclosures.

Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal control standards.

Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures aligned with US GAAP.

Support P&L forecasting, cash flow projections, and annual budget preparation.

Deliver weekly KPI reports and consolidate month‑end financial statements.

Manage inventory accounting processes, including subledger accuracy, overhead rate reviews, cost roll‑ups, and physical inventory counts.

Analyze inventory adjustments and reserves to maintain accurate valuation.

Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable staff, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development.

Partner with leadership to deliver financial insights that improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Support internal and external audit readiness, ensuring compliance with procedural and regulatory requirements.

Evaluate capital expenditure justifications and safeguard fixed assets through regular verification.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment.

Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing strongly preferred.

Proven team leadership or supervisory experience.

Strong understanding of US GAAP, cost accounting, and government contract compliance.

Proficiency in ERP systems (ERP system conversion experience a plus).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Compensation Up to $120k
