About The Role
The Red Hat Sales Incentives team is looking for a Sales Incentive Analyst 3 to join our team. The Sales Incentive Analyst 3 supports the development, implementation, and administration of sales commissions and incentive programs, plans, policies, and quotas. The analyst works independently to support sales teams across North America, resolving moderately complex incentive-related issues, proactively communicating, and problem‑solving to ensure incentive plans lead to desired sales performance outcomes. The Analyst 3 partners with senior sales leaders to provide advisory support and actionable insights.
What You Will Do
Resolve sales incentive inquiries accurately in line with the established Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Assist in the creation and optimization of incentive plans for each sales role in the region while promoting global consistency.
Assist during the annual quota planning process and apply analytics to ensure optimal coverage models are used.
Maintain accurate details of account alignment, credit mapping, and coverage models.
Review commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness; verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of commission payments as outlined in the plan.
Work with senior sales leaders as their sales incentives SME point of contact.
Assist in communications and presentation of incentive plans and policies.
Ensure policy compliance through communications and analytics support.
Deliver training that ensures overall incentive program effectiveness.
Provide insightful and useful incentive analytics across all management levels that deliver continuous improvement in incentive plan effectiveness.
Assist with tool enhancements and testing.
What You Bring
Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
2+ years of sales operations, analytics, or sales incentives experience.
2+ years of professional work experience.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree is a plus.
Excellent focus on details, accuracy, and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning.
Strong business partnering skills and communication skills with all levels of management.
Experience in data science or analytics and solid understanding of spreadsheet formulas is a plus.
The salary range for this position is $77,520.00 – $124,020.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote‑US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
