The Role:
Hawkins Parnell & Young LLP is seeking a Nevada-licensed attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience for its Las Vegas office. The ideal candidate is eager to take ownership of cases, handle depositions, and be part of a collaborative trial team handling complex defense litigation.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of litigated claims from inception through resolution.
Prepare for trial, including strategy development, discovery, records review, client and witness prep.
Conduct legal research and draft motions and pleadings.
Take and defend depositions.
Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school; active Nevada Bar membership.
3–5 years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Client-focused mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident communicator who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
