The San Diego, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Healthcare & Long-Term Care Litigation Practice Group. Responsibilities
Admitted to practice in California. Represent healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings, draft and argue motions in open court, interview witnesses, take and defend depositions, and prepare cases for trial. Demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Work independently as a self-starter and as part of a team. Qualifications
At least 1 to 7 years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits is preferred but not required. Some healthcare law experience is preferred; candidates with excellent litigation skills and a demonstrated interest in healthcare law are encouraged to apply. Compensation & Benefits
Minimum Salary: USD $135,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary: USD $180,000.00/Yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k with employer match.
