Overview
Manufacturing company hiring a Reliability Engineer in Frederick County. The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for improving the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and processes, analyzing equipment failures, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) on equipment failures. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Monitor equipment performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, maintainability, and cost reduction. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in all reliability initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance procedures, equipment history, and reliability reports. Provide training and support to maintenance personnel on reliability best practices. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience in a reliability or maintenance engineering role, preferably in the food or beverage manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and maintenance strategies. Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data analysis tools.
