Senior RF Design Engineer
Randstad USA is hiring a Senior RF Design Engineer for a dynamic and high growth defense contractor in Largo, FL.
Job Summary The RF Engineer will focus on engineering radar, missile fire control systems, communications, and other RF systems, subsystems, or components. Key activities include analyzing and modifying existing designs, leading new development of hardware components, and analyzing radar test data. They will also be responsible for verification and validation planning. The ideal candidate independently completes technical projects, mentors and coaches other engineers, and works cross-functionally.

Responsibilities
Design & Development: Review, define, and manage specifications and requirements to develop designs. Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems, including integrated pulsed radar systems covering RF hardware, mechanical design, and signal processing.
Problem‑Solving & Analysis: Drive technical problem resolution, complete tasks on time and within budget, and analyze designs to troubleshoot performance issues or identify new business opportunities.
Project & Cost Management: Provide input on budget, cost, and schedule for design assignments. Own and manage radar system's cost, performance, and schedule to meet customer needs.
Supplier & Manufacturing Support: Specify and evaluate supplier components and services and support program requirements for designing to cost and manufacturing.
Prototyping & Risk Management: Develop prototypes to mitigate key development or production risks.
Communication & Collaboration: Communicate clearly with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers; interact with other professionals and support personnel to coordinate technical activities.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience.
Bachelors degree required.
