Who We Need We’re building an industry‑defining accounting and finance platform. We need a product manager with deep accounting knowledge and strong product instincts to shape products that address complex finance professional needs. Your background in accounting—especially revenue recognition (ASC 606), journal entries, and consolidations—will bridge the gap between users, engineers, and designers. This remote‑first role requires time‑zone flexibility and fluency in written and spoken English.
What You’ll Do
Act as subject‑matter expert on technical accounting topics (ASC 606, intercompany transactions, consolidations, audit readiness).
Translate complex accounting workflows and compliance needs into product requirements and specs.
Define, prioritize and execute features that align with customer needs and business goals.
Partner closely with engineers and designers to deliver accurate, intuitive solutions.
Gather feedback from customers, internal stakeholders and the market to inform product development.
Create product documentation, release notes and training materials.
Support QA and user acceptance testing for finance‑related features.
Collaborate with EU‑based developers; time‑zone flexibility required.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in accounting.
2+ years of experience in a product management role.
Experience with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and their impact on product workflows.
Collaborative, detail‑oriented mindset thriving in fast‑paced environments.
Excellent communication skills, both internally and with external customers.
Product mindset capable of turning complex requirements into elegant solutions.
Experience in accounting operations within a tech company, including direct user experience with ERP or finance software systems (plus).
CPA certification (plus).
Experience in a top‑10 accounting firm (plus).
