Job Summary This position will support the creation and management of geospatial solutions for aviation‑related projects using the ESRI ArcGIS platform. The candidate will help build and configure ArcGIS Online applications - such as Experience Builder, Dashboards, Field Maps, Survey123, and QuickCapture. This role includes preparing and integrating geospatial datasets, performing basic analysis, and helping to present results through web maps, dashboards, and other visualization tools.
Years of Relevant Experience The position requires 1 - 3 equivalent years of experience in Geographical Information Systems, operations research, modeling and simulation, or technical analysis. Specific experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or the Aviation Industry is desired.
Essential Job Functions
Assist with creating and configuring ArcGIS Online Applications, including Workforce, Survey123, Field Maps, and QuickCapture
Support the design and update of Survey123 forms for field data collection
Collect, clean, and organize geospatial and tabular data for mapping and simple analyses
Maintain and update geospatial datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects
Produce maps, graphics, and dashboards to communicate project findings and support decision making
Perform basic spatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro
Document methods and results and communicate findings clearly to project teams and stakeholders
Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Geography, Urban Development, Data Science, or similar. Master’s degree is a plus.
Skills Requirements
Experience configuring ArcGIS field applications (Field Maps, Survey123, QuickCapture)
Experience with ArcGIS Pro is required
Experience with ArcGIS Experience Builder and/or Dashboards is desired
Familiarity with basic spatial analysis techniques in ArcGIS is desired
Experience with data management and quality control of geospatial datasets is desired
Familiarity with relational databases or SQL is desired
Experience with Python or other scripting tools is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information is required
Travel Occasional travel required as needed by client/s and/or company.
