Job Summary We need a battle‑ready Manufacturing Engineer to forge steel parts that defend the U.S. homeland. With 5+ years of experience, you’ll design and optimize processes in our facility, wielding CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) like weapons to ensure precision and efficiency. Expect tight deadlines, high stakes, and an ISO 9001 battlefield where you’ll lead with a hands‑on, “in the trenches” approach.

Key Responsibilities

Forge steel parts for defense systems, optimizing processes for maximum efficiency and quality.

Use SolidWorks/AutoCAD to design line layouts, fixtures, and tools that keep production razor‑sharp.

Lead factory acceptance testing (FAT) to ensure equipment meets mission‑critical standards.

Create standard work instructions (SWIs) to lock in consistency under ISO 9001.

Drive lean improvements to cut waste and boost output in a high‑pressure environment.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to crush manufacturing issues on the spot.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience: 5+ years in metal forging; ISO 9001 experience; proven project leadership under fire.

Technical Skills: Mastery of SolidWorks/AutoCAD; process design; fixture/tool expertise.

Leadership/Work Style: Hands‑on, “in the trenches” grit; thrives under tight deadlines.

Soft Skills: Sharp problem‑solver; team player; precision‑driven.

Physical Requirements: Ready to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and fight on the shop floor.

Preferred Qualifications

Deep forging process knowledge.

ERP/MRP system experience.

Automation/robotics exposure.

Work Environment You’ll be on the front lines in a manufacturing facility—think noise, machinery, and occasional travel for supplier missions.
