We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of hardware systems for autonomous aerial suppression. You’ll work cross-functionally with software engineers and other team members to deliver robust and reliable hardware solutions for firefighters.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3-5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and tolerance analysis.
Hands‑on experience with prototyping and common fabrication techniques (e.g., machining, 3D printing).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, casting, CNC machining).
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred (but not required)
Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in mechanism design, kinematic analysis, and/or advanced simulation tools (FEA, CFD, thermal).
Strong interest in or experience with robotics, automation, or complex mechatronic systems.
Experience in aviation, aerospace, or UAV industries.
Familiarity with regulatory and environmental testing standards.
