The Account Executive is responsible for maximizing sales growth profitably. The role involves representing products and services for Shamrock Foods Company to restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishments on a commission basis.
Essential Duties
Prospect new customers and build a territory to grow the customer base.
Maintain the current customer base and grow the share of its business.
Impact customer success through:
Supporting customer menu engineering.
Supporting food cost analysis to reduce waste and improve profitability.
Consuming and sharing market intelligence and industry trends.
Conducting product demonstrations and comparisons by sampling products at the customer’s restaurant or facility.
Facilitating demonstrations of capabilities to support the customer.
Sharing new product innovations through Shamrock resources.
Building multi‑level relationships within the businesses served.
Keeping accounts current; optimizing sales, service, and delivery and collecting past‑due balances.
Leveraging technology to improve customer efficiency and drive experience enhancements.
Participating in ongoing training to continuously develop skills.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
HS Diploma and/or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
2+ years of experience in culinary, restaurant operations, foodservice, or other related experience preferred.
Previous successful sales experience a plus.
Current driver’s license.
Demonstrated problem‑solving expertise.
Comfort using technology and analyzing customer data.
Knowledgeable on industry trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Demands

Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Starting compensation of $40,000–$100,000 per year based on achievement of performance goals, eventually transitioning to commission‑basis.
