Asset Manager – Dallas, TX Lincoln Property Company is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of industrial properties. This position is based out of Lincoln’s regional office in Dallas, Texas, and involves leading asset management for a growing regional portfolio of industrial properties, including Dallas‑Fort Worth, Worth, and Houston. The Asset Manager will work closely with senior management to implement investment strategies for each property and be responsible for property operations, leasing, and capital deployment for the portfolio.

In achieving the financial, asset strategy, and operational goals for the portfolio, the Asset Manager must have proficiency in all areas of asset management and property management, including day‑to‑day operations, maintenance programs, tenant relations, collections, financial analysis, and strategic planning. They will be responsible for accuracy and timeliness of management reporting for senior management, investors, and joint venture partners, including business plans, periodic reforecasts, and all monthly/quarterly reports. The Asset Manager will oversee property management and asset management personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Provide general management and direction for a diversified portfolio of properties in executing strategic plans.

Offer strategy, direction, and oversight for property management teams to achieve investment goals.

Visit all properties regularly to maintain proactive tenant relations and coordinate efforts with leasing brokers and property managers.

Manage capital improvement strategies and processes, including oversight of construction management activities.

Maintain strong working relationships with institutional joint venture partners, perform site visits, and submit timely budgets and reports.

Prepare required periodic reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annually) for each asset, including budget comparisons, property status reports, executive summaries, and investor reporting packages.

Work closely with accounting on accounts receivables and collections reporting.

Approve accounts payable and obtain expense support from third‑party property managers.

Oversee disposition processes of assets: prepare valuations, review marketing material, manage due diligence, and closing requirements.

Assist new acquisitions into the direct portfolio, transition new assets, and assume full accountability upon closing.

Lead the annual budget process, collaborating with third‑party property managers.

Maintain strong knowledge of market conditions and cultivate relationships with tenants, vendors, brokers, and other real estate professionals.

Key Attributes / Experience

Travel and flexible hours required.

Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in asset management.

Extremely proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Argus preferred.

Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.

Strong quantitative analysis skills.

Comfortable performing in an entrepreneurial firm.
