Overview
We are seeking a
Coupon Manager . This position will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, scheduling, and field site activities for an ongoing community health project that measures prevalence of HIV, health and social issues, health-related behaviors and access to services among people who use drugs in the Baltimore metro region. This role will work closely with the Research Program Manager in managing participant flow, scheduling appointments, interacting with study participants, implementing field site safety precautions, and ensuring protocol compliance for participant interactions. Responsibilities
Managing field site participant flow and all front desk activities. Interacting with study participants. Ensuring adherence to study protocols for participant recruitment, scheduling, data collection, specimen collection and storage, and referrals to health and social services. Establishing and ensuring field site safety and welcoming procedures. Supply management. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or graduation equivalent. One year of related experience. Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledgeable about communities highly affected by drug use and HIV. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and in a team setting, and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels. Prior experience with study populations and/or other diverse populations preferred. Able to occasionally work flex hours preferred. Comfort with basic computer programs preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated experience working independently and ability to work well in an unstructured environment as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and protocol adherence, while maintaining flexibility to respond to multiple priorities. Demonstrated experience with study population and/or other marginalized and diverse populations. Familiarity with or interest in harm reduction and public health approaches to drug use and related risk reduction Strong organizational skills and ability to interact with a variety of people. Proficiency in computer systems and electronic communications. Able to occasionally work flexible hours to accommodate protocol needs. Technical Skills and Expected Level of Proficiency
